1175 case wont go into reverse

I have a 1175 case that wont go into reverse but goes into all other gears and in hi/lo range. Ive removed the pin out of the yoke on linkage and it moves fine in cab. I was curious what all is involved in taking shift cover off top of transmission, looks like cab may need to be removed or raised up but that would depend on the length of shift forks. any help would be greatly appreciated.

After messing with this thing some more I have
finally got it to go in reverse but you really half to
work with it more so than any other gear. I've let it
roll forwards and backwards doesn't seem to help.

There are interlocks in the shifting basket. First you need to make sure that the 1-2 and 3-4 shifters are totally in neutral. Could be bent linkage from cab down on them. If all is ok there, you will have to remove the tranny cover. Not that bad a job on an 1175. Remove RH front cab mount and hyd filter, Remove all the cover bolts, then you can lift the cover enough to rotate the shift fingers enough to clear the top of tranny, and slide it out the RH side of tractor. I would expect that you will find a broken shift rail or a sheared roll pin on an interlock tube that has come loose from one of the forks.

thanks for the reply, I'd say its probably in shift housing because the linkage goes up and down fine in the cab when disconnected from shaft on housing. I was hoping someone was going to tell me there was something else wrong but no such luck I guess. Thanks again for your time and advise.
