I have a JD 2240 made in 1979. Awhile back I removed the steering column and had it rebuilt. They screwed it up. I took it to another guy and he got it put back together and working. Some time later I noticed that when you turn the steering wheel, the front tires turned at different angles, one tire would be turned more than the other. With the steering wheel centered so that the tires are both pointed straight , as you turn the wheel, they go out of alignment a pretty good bit.
How do I correct this problem ?
Could anyone give me the sequence to hook everything up so that it will steer correctly ?
