Ford 8000 pto clutch question

Hi to all
I've pulled and repaired the pto clutch already and ready to install. I need info on what position should the lever be in that engages and disengages the control valve spool. This lever has a fork on one end and is L-shaped on the other end. Im thinking the 5000 -7000 models are simular to the 8000. Thanks
