any dexta experts out there??

ivor from uk here and I have split my dexta because of clutch problems... when I push clutch pedal down the tractor kept going .. a pin had come out of one of the arms so that was easy to find but in the bottom of bell housing there was a broken bush which is about one inch long and about 3/8 diameter and I cannot find where it has come from.. I nearly forgot it is single clutch, any assistance will be appreciated

I have just found where broken bush is from... it is from rear housing of starter I now need advice on how to fit new bush

Sometimes when a starter bushing comes out, it is because the hole in the housing is spun out oversize or out of round from the shaft running against the housing.

You may have to open the hole up to the next available over size bushing. Stock size bushings are available from a bearing supply.

When I used to have starter bushing slip out like that I would support the nose and take a center punch and put a coupla dimples in it.
