Allis Chalmers 6140 just clicks won't crank

Turn key and clicks at solenoid. All electrical connections cleaned from battery on back. Good voltage at solenoid. Removed starter and solenoid and sent out for examination. Both checked good. Don't know what I am overlooking. Guidance / suggestions greatly appreciated!

Battery at full charge as in 12.5 volts or more?? Good clean mount where the starter is??/ Or one you cannot see or check easily a bad battery cable. Battery cables do go bad and you cannot see that

Try testing the voltage with the system under load.

Have an assistant hold the switch to the start position while you do your voltage tests.

Be careful! It could start cranking at any time!
