Ford crankshaft pulley removal

I have a Ford 545A diesel I need to remove the crankshaft pulley, I haven't been able to find a puller to remove it. Does anyone have any experience in removing one on this tractor? There is about 7" clearance for the puller. The manual notes a adjustable bridge puller #9539 AKA Nuday #518 which I can't find.

Snap-on, Mac or about any of the tool trucks sell a puller like you need, but with a piece
of heavy plate, a drill press, a torch, a welder and a little time you can make one. Most
of the time they are not that hard to get off, just requires steady pressure.

My biggest problem is the 41/2" spread of the bolts in a limited area. Matco referred me to this website because of his used while rebuilding his tractor. I was thinking of trying to find a bar puller that the 7/16" bolts will fit into. I am in an area where there aren't many places to shop for pullers unless I go 70 miles or more, which I may have to do. Thanks for the info.
