Guys I busted some teeth off on my counter shaft on a Ford 641. I've replaced the counter shaft and all the bearings, cups, and oil seal sleeves on the main shaft and counter shaft. After putting the counter shaft back in my preload test is reading low around 6 in/lbs, this is same with the shims in it or without. Any suggestions would be helpful and is this too low if there's no up and down play in the countershaft?
