Clutch went out and I did not have time to repair . Looking at forum it looked like parts were a question and best to rebuild the origional rather than a "new clutch and plate . Now after the fix by an implement dealer and repair shop I only have 3/8 play from full in to out ,where before it had plenty pedal to work with . I did tell them to send it in to be rebuilt considering my searches . Now what do you-all think happened???? its hard to work with this touch'y setup --somethings not right

The touchy part is most likely the grip of the new surfaces and stronger clutch finger springs. You might be able to take the clutch rod out of the pedal and screw it in a turn or two. Without looking it up I think it calls for 1/2" to 1" play new. It should wear in along with getting use to it. My Farmall C has two inches of play and it still grabs if you don't remember.

thanks for the only reply . I drilled a different hole trying to acomplish more pedal travel but she dont like that so back to this . I guess I didnt know the rod was thread on end inside the housing that is something I can deal with , dont have a book as such but am very mechanical rebuilt my WD few years back and continue to learn -rjm

The threaded hole painted blue the rod screws into is at the bottom right side in the picture.

I didn't have a good picture of the clutch rod screwed in. This picture shows the rod from the clutch.
If I have better pictures I didn't find them in this search.
