injector question

high all new to this site i have a question just trying to fit reco injectors to a fordson power major. another second hand head. the injectors dont seem to be pulling down far enough there is a gap between the injector boltflange and the head have checked
the head cavity and only 1 copper washer. also what insulation paste whould be recomended hope i can get some feed back thanks all. :?:

There are several factors at play here..
A different head & recon injectors.. your just going to have to break out the measuring stick.
If you don't have a dial caliper, just cut off a piece of coat hanger & check the depth of the inj. hole in the head.
as far as the paste, use "anti-seize" SPARINGLY..

Injectors with the hold down bolt type flange DO NOT contact the head under the flange when the correct sealing gasket is used.
