Rebuilding the governor on an E4, Buda 230 gas. I'm assembling it with some NOS parts. The I&T manual says the cup should have .230-.240 inch travel between when the balls are in to where it hits the hairpin clip, and to adjust it with .010 shim washers. There should be a .050 hardened washer against the hairpin which was missing, only shim washers. When the ball driver is pressed to the proper depth it will allow about .185 travel with the hardened washer and no shims. Replacements were originally as an assembly of the shaft, disk and ball driver. I have found a few errors in the I&T manuals and wondering if this dimension is another one. I've found nothing in online and YouTube searches for specs. Does anybody have experience with these or know where to find the specs? Mr. Schwiebert, can you help??
