Rear tractor tire

Has anyone tried repairing tube type rear tractor tires using "slime" or flat tire repair or whatever has worked? Current flat tire has calcium chloride (its jacked up so it doesn't lose the fluid). A neighbor retired truck driver told me about filling tires with silicon but the company is 60 miles from here last estimate was $300.00 and you have to take the tire there? Thanks, dave

Slime and CC don't mix. You have to pump out the CC, repair or replace the tube if it has one, and reinstall back on rim. Then pump in the CC back in if you need to.

No way to do anything with it but bite the bullet and either patch to old tube or replace it. Just did one on my 8N ford this past week end but then again I have been doing tire repair for 40 plus years
