Hello everyone my ne is Matt and I am new to the forum and a new mf 90 owner so I decided to stop by and ask some of you that are familiar with this old girl.
I bought her today and was told the injector pump was rebuilt but they couldn't get fuel to the cylinder. I checked and sure enough no fuel. So somewhere in my mind I decided to give it a look over and see if there was air in the pump. Long story short, I loosened and then tightened the injector pump cover and broke one of the two bolts. It has threads that screw into the pump under the cover and the other threads extend through the cover to put a nut on.
Can anyone please tell me what this bolt is called and where I can get one or a part number. I'm scared to death it's going to rain and ruin my pump. Once we get that fixed I will also take any advice on the pump timing and bleeding.
Thanks for any help as I need to get this girl going asap

There are two cover hold down studs, and the top will break off if not careful. If the pump has not actually worked in awhile then it may have more trouble inside, stuck metering valve and/or plungers are what I see most. I have the studs and acorn nuts, E-mail is open on Classic if you would like to get in contact.

Check the fuel filter O rings. They should NOT fit inside the filter. They should fit in the groove of the filter mounting bracket and should be just as big as the top edge of the filter. Believe me this has happened to a lot of us Self included. If that still isn't the problem just ask for Dieseltech on here, he's probably one of the best on diesel engines and injector pumps on here.
