Hello,
I recently bought a Farmall Super C and have been working on cleaning up the carburetor. I managed to round off the fittings on the fuel line when taking it off and I purchased this one to replace it: http://www.yesterdaystractors.com/Farmall-Super-A_Fuel-Line-With-fittings_FLA15.html.
The odd thing is that although it will thread into the elbow on the carburetor just fine, I can't get it to thread into the sediment bowl. I tried the old fuel line and can't get that one started either.
I'm relatively inexperienced. Is there some sort of stupid trick to this? The threads look OK to me but should I try cleaning them with a tap? What size of tap would be correct?
