Anyone have any tips for adjusting the PTO clutch on an Oliver 1850? No matter whether I set mine up tight or loose the PTO shaft continues to spin. I have the operator's and the service manuals. It's a right hand lever and is supposed to be set to require 58 to 64 pounds of pull on the PTO lever to engage the PTO. I tried that with no success.
I had it working OK for a short time but then it started to drag again. Could it be that transmission oil it too thick?
