49 Ford 8n leaking water

Leaking water from water pump weep hole and making a squeeling noise as well. Time for a pump replacement? How difficult is it to replace?

Yes, time for a new pump.

Not a difficult job with basic mechanical skills.

Swamphunting,Yep replace it now before you are replacing the radiator and the fan along with the water pump.After market water pump housings are sometimes a lot thicker at mounting studs and don't always fit right.SO - you might be better off having your original pump rebuilt.
