I recently got my 4010 running after having starting problems for about one year, replaced starter, generator, ignition switch plus all wiring for lights etc. tractor fired right off, it ran for about ten minutes, then a loud bang, hydraulic oil pouring out from dash cowl, blew my pressure control valve in half. never had hydraulic problem before the starting problems, and never touched anything to do with hydraulics. bought a used valve on ebay with same numbers. I made sure valve was in good shape, backed off pressure at pump, started tractor, ran great, then started to sound like it was coming under load, reached to turn tractor off, but blew pressure valve again before I could get it shut down. I found another valve, but don't want to install it until I find out why it is building to much pressure. Any suggestions on where to start the hunt.
