IH 350 PTO Filler Cap

I got the 350 running for the first time and noticed oil coming our of the PTO filler cap. Shut her down and opened the level plug and had a quart of oil pour out. I'm guessing someone overfilled it? I will retry shortly, but in the meantime, the "filler cap" doesn't unscrew. Is it supposed to? how do you fill the PTO oil reservoir?

thanks - does the filler cap twist off? Pull off? It twists but does not move up. and is that the location to fill the oil? not real clear in the manual.

I don't know how that particular filler cap works. You need to loosen the drain plug on the bottom in order to allow any water to drain.

I am draining it now. Very milky yellow color. I expect I will need to fill it thru the level plug. Filler cap won't come off.

Frank, try posting down on the Farmall forum. You may catch the eye of someone familiar with H/350.
