The bolt that transfers oil to the top of the head has stripped.
Screws into the top of the head and has a hole in the bottom and side The coarse threaded end has stripped out of the head I think the bolt is 3/8 What are my options to fix this without having to buy a new head

Does that tractor not have the cap screw head bolts that thread into the block? I know on the earlier Super A tractors they had studs in the block with nuts that tightened down on the top of the heads. I believe on the 140, it has bolts.

If so, wouldn't it be stripped in the block? Correct me if I'm wrong. I have a couple good head oiler bolts I'll sell if you need to get one.

My bolt is good threads stripped out in the head think im going to have a oiler bolt made by a machine shop with 7/16 threads turned down to 3/8 to allow oil to get into topside then drill and tap head to 7/16
