I need to order one of these. Does anyone know a part number? The injection pump bleeder screw simply broke apart off on this old 950. I could sure use some help here. Thank you.

You can look the part up by surfing over to www.jdparts.com, without signing up.

The part number for the screw/plug is CH10319, @ a little over $2. Gasket, if you need one, is M87851.

Sometimes, by signing in, you get more information, dimensions. However, in this case, dimensions are not shown. It would be a metric screw, in the 5MM size range, I'd guess.

I have a 1981 model 650 which is the 2 cylinder version of this engine and the pump bleed screw broke on mine. I used a regular metric bolt,(don't remember the size now) and put a common flat washer next to the bolt head then a soft copper washer between the flat washer and the pump housing. Sealed well and has lasted over 15 years now and is so much cheaper than mother Deere's price. Gene Davis Tennille, Ga.
