Okay, this really can't be that hard, but I don't wanna screw something up; mainly the crankshaft end. I can't seem to get my starter unbolted from its linkage
behind the flywheel; the linkage turns instead of the nut loosening. So I'm afraid I'm gonna have to pull the flywheel off which I don't wanna do but--- Anyway,
I got the tightening bolts out of the flywheel, but I'm not sure what to do with this 'nut' looking washer on the end. (see picture) Someone told me it screws on,
but I didn't really see any threads on the crankshaft anywhere. So does it unscrew? If so which way? Or do I just pry it off? And what do I do with the roll
pin that's under it when I get it off? Thanks.
Unless someone's got a secret to removing stubborn starters....
