You will need to support the front of the tractor, and loosen all the axle mounting bolts in front and remove the ones at the rear of wishbone. Then you can remove the ball joint nut in the front of cylinder, ( The nut is held with a sirclip that you have to squeeze to remove) and also remove the castle nut on rear of cylinder and then by rotating the tierod bellcrank you will get enough clearance between the brace and cylinder to remove it.

thanks is thing has been a real bummer for me. the case shop went out of business a few years ago and the only other( help) was from a shop that did not really want to deal with dyi people. thanks again joe
 
hello again gentlemen
well I got the axle off yesterday and built a tool to back off the nut holding the ball on to the cylinder. but it will not move at all I used pb blaster and heat and have gotten almost nowhere. Any suggestion? Joe
