What's your opinion on this MD head?

Do you think this crack is in the water jacket?
If not should I seat the valves and use it?

Is that hole where the injector goes? Best bet is to pressure test. I had a D-282 (560) head one time when we teaching some crack repair that had 22 cracks. All the students said " Throw it away", we pressure tested it and found no leaks. I told them the man sold it for $700.00

Yes that's the injector hole with the little crack. Thanks for the reply. I've got to find someone to pressure test itnow.

Yes there is one between the valves and by the injector port.

I have lots of TD6 parts, engines and heads. I'm sure to have that spring, but with this rainy weather it will take a couple of
weeks before i get there at my storage yard. Its 60 miles away and has dirt road access, currently mud.
