1983 case 1194 diesel

Just bought a 1983 case 1194 diesel need lot of TLC
Fuel leaking ever where it has new filters on it still leaking from the top side of the housing sure it is just "O" ring also injector pump is leaking
From both shafts ordered a kit for that not sure do you need to set the timing before taking the pump off buy the video that. I watched
It looks like it is keyed to long go in one way any help be appropriate

The pump doesn't have to come off if all your doing is repairing the top cover leaks..
and you have enough room to get the cover off ofcourse..
TONS of repair instructions on the web.. just search, CAV top cover leak..
If you run into any problems, post back or contact me direct..
there are 3 injection pump rebuilders on this site..
 
Not sure I have the room to get the top off it stands up on the right front side of the tractor and has a frontend loader on it
Also thought it the pump is that old the seal on the in side might be leaking a little also thought it would be a good time to reseal it
Will appreciate any help or advice
 
If I recall that pump is upright, has the quill shaft drive like the early Perkins 6.354 used. Drive shaft has a wide spline for alignment, and there should be a scribe line on one of the pump housing hold down flanges. Pump can be removed-replaced by just aligning the scribe marks as before.
 
Not sure I have the room to get the top off it stands up on the right front side of the tractor and has a frontend loader on it
