The original subject was "Removing Perkins 152 Cylinder Sleeves Super Dexta".
Just got a block back from a machine shop that installed new liners in my 3.152 Perkins block. They used dry ice to freeze them and oil in the block bores to help them slide in. I can see where some of the oil ran down on the inside of the block where they installed them. Didn't hear them say anything about Loctite? The fit between the liner and the block bore should be enough to hold them in place I would think. Best to consult a reputable diesel machine shop for any of this work that is not understood. A couple extra hundred dollars might save a lot of extra work in the long run.
