Are the valve cover gaskets on a 2N Ford made of paper or cork? I've found the manifold gaskets at TSC but they didn't have the side cover gaskets. Thought I could make my own and save shipping cost.

I would use thick cork.
Or, clean everything oil free and use black automotive silicone instead of a gasket.
