Tap base housing - Bearing removal

Hi,

How do I remove bearing insert from tap base housing?

Working on Harley T6 power rake. Need to replace insert bearing for roller. Do the two slots in Tap base assembly indicate a spanner wrench for removal?

It is a "spherical OD" bearing. Rock it in the housing 'til it is perpendicular to the housing, sitting in the slots, ready to be picked out of the housing.

I just looked at your photo again... Is the new bearing correct... in the photo it looks like a standard bearing, rather than one with a spherical OD. Double check, compare it to the old one before attempting to install.
