I needed tires to move my farmall bn and didn't want to spend the money on new ones until i restored it. I had two temporary 125/70d/15 out back out of some car. i own a metal fab. shop so i had planned on making new centers for them. To my surprise they measured the same inside as bn wheels, just needed to cut centers completely out. fit and work grate. i am sure some one has done this but i wrote it any way.

Yes I did the same as you -- only in restoring a allis B . My tire rims were rotted out completely --- where as the centers were good as new . On this style of allis rim the centers are riveted to the hub-- so if you need to fix a flat you must take the grease cap off and undo the wheel brg--- I am at a complete loss as to why they made it like this but makes finding a good rim of this style around here in manitoba impossible. I also took an angle grinder and lightly ground off the raised letters on the temp spare that says temp use only just so it looked a little more like it might be a proper tire . They have run many years like this --- I like to recycle.
