Hydraulic Oil Strainer

Hello all,

Well my Japanese Hinomoto E230 is similar to an AC 5020. I bought the AC 5020 repair manual looking to locate where the hydraulic oil strainer is at. Book repeatedly shows it but fails to pin point the location.

Can anyone advise where it is located?

I looked up a 5020 on agcopartsbooks.com It looks like the strainer is mounted in a vertical canister in the suction line between where it pulls fluid from the back of tractor and the hydraulic pump. AGCO part number is 72098487 and the O-ring is 72098486. Go to that site and look it up for a 5020, it has a pretty good diagram.
