After all the talk and griping about my Farmall A magneto, I decided to bite the darn thing and ordered a new coil. Then I proceeded to take the old coil out and replace it. Well, it was far easier than I expected. Took about 20 minutes to change it and lo and behold, the tractor now runs on and on and on. Yippee. Then to top it off A friend came along and adjusted the fan belt and it started to charge., Now it starts, runs for hours on end and recharges the battery More yippee
