At some point, I need to get back to trying to rescue an old IH (or perhaps Farmall) 660 tractor. It's a gasser, and while sitting for years (before I found her) water got into the now-seized cylinders through the exhaust-stack (and rusted that out too!).
I poured some motor oil into the spark holes, before getting side-tracked with life. That was a couple-3 years ago. So, now it's sitting in my pasture! But I'd eventually like to get her going.
Anyone have any idea of engine availability? Looks like I found a rebuild kit for ~$500. But I can use some help locating the serial numbers!
She's heavily modified with a massive military-looking rock-crusher-thing... that at least doubles the size/weight of the tractor! It's NOT just your run-of-the-mill implement!
