Ware do I check and fill the hyd. Oil?
My PTO & 3pt hitch work fine when I start the tractor, but when it warmes up they both quit. Some times if I go up a steep hill they will come back on for a little wile.

I don't know Don...
but these folks might:

Rosy Bros Inc.
Dryden, Michigan
Phone: (810) 796-3007

Because they have/had a '67 and a '66 for sale on tractordata.com recently.

While I understand that the ones before '65 were a completely different beast, yours should be the later (genuine) 4000. So I'd imagine the fill locations (possibly one of the bolts), drain, and dip-sticks would be the same on similar years.

Abingdon Equipment
Abingdon, Virginia
Phone: (276) 227-7012
Had/has a '68

And these guys also have (or had) '66s for sale,
so I'd expect one of 'em should be able to tell ya:

Frontline Ag Solutions
Conrad, Montana
Phone: (888) 397-6851

Arnold's
Sauk Rapids, Minnesota
Phone: (320) 251-2585

St. Joseph Equipment
La Crosse, Wisconsin
Phone: (608) 788-1775

Ginop Sales Inc.
Alanson, Michigan
Phone: (231) 548-2272
or (800) 344-4667

Hope that helps!

Good luck,
Kenny

Pipe pulg on top of differential to fill and if I remember correctly a check plug down by PTO but that has been too many years ago. I know the remote cylinder was plumed into that plug on top for return of hydrolic oil. This was on the 4100 series, 38" rear wheel utility. the row crop 4200 might be different as the platform for them was over top of tranny while the 4100 you straddled tranney. Still have books but they are put away someplace, not sure where.
