Nortrac will not start

I have a Nortrac 254 that I left the key in the ignition for a few days. When I wanted to start it, it would not turn over, not even a click. I changed the battery and checked the fuses, still nothing. Nothing clicks or moves. Any thoughts? Could the solenoid be faulty?

Do some simple test. Run a heavy jumper form the ignition of the battery to the starter side of the solenoid. Doing that should make the engine spin over if you have a good ground. Make sure it is not in gear when you do that or it may run you over. Doing that will tell you if it is the starter it self or a ground or maybe a safety switch
