I have just over-hauled the motor on a farmall C (vated block and cylinder head,bored out sleved) The whole nine yards.All spark plugs will fire and values adjusted proper however
the #1 ( the cylinder closest to the driver seat) won't hit or fire, have intake off now and it's clear of obstructions.

I'm confused

#1 cylinder is always the one closest to the radiator and the one your calling #1 is in fact #4. As for not firing does the problem follow the plug or plug wire as in if you put that plug in #1 does #1 still fire or not. Also you do know the firing order on a Farmall is 1,3,4,2
