Best Thread Sealant For Fuel tank Shut-off valve

Putting in a new shut off valve in my Ford 2000 tank-gas.

What is recommended for thread sealant.

"Gasoila" is as good as it gets, I use the "hard set" version which helps keep the joint from loosening from vibration.

Any of it will work, and there's lots of similar products out there.

I use Permatex foam a gasket and just a little on threads. Gasoline doesn't effect it and it seals without getting hard making it easy to take apart if needed.

The fuel man told me years ago to use Permatex with gasoline fittings.
