Install rebuilt 6cyl motor 48 f1

What is the best way to install a rebuilt ford flathead 6 with chains for lifting.I have an engine hoist don't want to undue head bolts, everything is all, new, torqued, new gasket. It's a heavy motor, where can I lift it from not to damage any bolt holes? I was thinking of nylon tow strap wrapped around motor, don't want to crush pan any ideas,Thanks

You should be able to find a couple bolts to put a chain on or bust a couple old plugs and weld a rod with a loop in them to put a chain on. I would use the head bolts and retorque them.

48fotd,Just remove 2 head bolts and use longer ones for lifting with a chain. Then when finished put some thread sealer on the original bolts and re-torque them.No problems for removal and re-torque.
