I recently purchased this tractor/backhoe knowing it had a bad clutch. Before I replaced the clutch I did not notice any oil leak.
Now the clutch works great but oil runs out of the clutch rod hole. I am sure it is engine oil. What could I have possibly done to destroy the rear seal? I did not take off the flywheel and the tractor halves went back together quite easily. I have no confidence that even if I went through the effort again to split the tractor and replace the seal that i would not destroy the new seal? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
