AT-720 FEL for Ford 1700

I have a Ag-Tech AT-720 FEL for 1982 Ford 1700 and I'm trying to rebuild the lift and bucket hydraulic cylinders. I took the cylinders to a local hydraulic shop and they noticed that one of the bucket cylinders was slightly bent. The hydraulic shop tried straightening the bent shaft but couldn't. lift and bucket cylinders are 1 1/2" diameter. Lift cylinders have 1 1/4" shafts and the bucket shaft is 1". Lift travel is 24" and bucket travel is 16" The connection pins are 5/8". The cylinders are original (35 years old) and some rusty areas.

Here are my questions for the forum members:

1: Is it worth replacing the bent shaft considering the fair/good condition of the cylinders?

2: I see some double action cylinders for sale that are around $130 each. Rated for 3500psi.

3: Original pin holes are 5/8", can I drill out these holes to fit the larger pins?

4: Do they make sleeves/spacers that can be used with my original pins?

5: Any brands of cylinders to stay away from?

Thanks for your responses. Any suggestions and/or options are greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!

Phil
