Hello everyone I am new to this forum and am looking for a little help. I recently purchased a Case dc. I believe the 1954 model. It has a foot clutch. Pto. Hydraulics. Eagle claw. Foot throttle. Basically all of the options based on my limited knowledge of this tractor. It did not run when I bought it however I have since got it running very well.
Now comes the problem. I'm not saying the guy knew it when he sold it to me but he certainly did not tell me about it, there is a very decent crack/hole at the bottom of one of the channels in the radiator. Tried the black pepper trick. Tried putting a little silicon on the outside plus the black pepper in the water and still no luck slowing it down. What is the best next step? Where can I get the radiator for a good price?
Lastly what is the thing worth? It runs very well. Could use front tires. Doesn't really leak anything. Needs some tlc around the gauges. And a choke cable. But it runs good and the sheet metal is pretty straight. I will try and post some pictures to help assess the value.
This is my first tractor so try not to be to harsh if I did something ignorant.
Thanks so much in advance
