Farmall B gas tank issues in Central Iowa

Getting ready to tear in to my Farmall B for my first restoration and first major issue that needs addresses is the gas tank that's sat for 10+ years with gas/moisture. There is a ton of rust and corrosion in the tank and was wondering if there's a good place that coats the inside or a method on getting it cleaned out that I can easily do myself?

There are a number of things one can do to maybe save that tank. Throw in a number of nuts and bolts and shake it a good bit. Be sure you count how many you put in so you get them all back out. Or Maratic acid can be used to clean it out just be sure your careful if you pour some in and shake it up. Or if you have a good radiator shop in the area you can take it to them and they can boil it out for you

Do you have a motor cycle place close to you. They have some stuff they use in there old gas tanks that according to my local place will clean it out and then they use something in them to completely seal the inside. worth a try.
