I have been working on restoring a barge box wagon. I had to replace the floor with new 1x4 tongue and groove fir flooring. Finally, I settled on using Fleet Farm brand hy-tran. Thank you 4520BW for the tip!!
Here are pictures of the treated wood. I turned one board over to show the coloration difference between treated and untreated. I brushed it on liberally and took 24+ hrs to soak in before I flipped the boards
over to treat the other side. I am happy with how it turned out. Time will tell the full story, but I feel it is off to a good start!!
