Caterpillar 955K right side won't engage

I've got a problem that apparently no one else has ever had because I sure can't find anything on it. Caterpillar 955 has been sitting and the right side steering clutch will not engage. It worked fine when it was parked but now I don't have any back pressure on the pedal and the right track will not pull. Looking for ideas

from what you state it must be a pedal steer and not lever steer---check the right side linkages for binding and keeping the clutch disengaged

It is pedal steer and I have done that pulled the linkages today re adjusted still no back pressure on right side. I have had them not disengage before it was a simple fix put it under load and push until they break free but this is just the opposite

I would guess its either a part in the steering clutch (bearing or fork) holding it released and/or final drive
if its like my 941b and d3b the release is hydraulically assisted so could be there also

Thanks got a drop deck coming to get her tomorrow I think I can limp her up. When I get it back to the barn I'm going to pull the top cover off and hope that the throw out bearing is stuck. but with my luck that will not be the case
