Rear Main Oil Seal

Having trouble finding the right part for my Ferguson TO20.
I was told I need a new Rear Main Oil Seal. Behind the flywheel is crank shaft seal.
Im having trouble understanding which is the right part on this site or any site.
Can anyone help guide me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance.

That engine will have a 2 piece rope seal I believe. Replacing the upper half with the crank still in the engine is a real tricky job!

How is the rest of the engine? Usually when a rope seal begins to leak badly, there are other problems also. Loose main bearings, excess blow-by are the bad causes, over full with oil is the easy one. If the engine is showing signs of wear, might want to consider going a little deeper, addressing some of the other problems because even a properly installed seal will soon begin to leak if the bearings are loose. That engine also had a problem with the crank thrust bearing failing. Not sure that would damage the rear seal, but something to be aware of while you are in there.

If the engine is fresh, possibly the seal was not properly installed. If that is the case, a new seal would be a viable repair.

If you will post in the "Harry Ferguson" board below, someone will post a copy of the parts book and point out the seal you need.
