Farmall H Distributor drive

My 46 H recently had its Delco Remy distributor freeze causing the the gear that drives the distributor gear to spin past the distributor gear. Can anyone tell me what holds that gear in place on the shaft? It's not press fit and if there is a pin like there is on the distributor gear I wasn't able to find any sign of it or do I need to replace the whole drive unit.

Thanks!

Thew last distributor I pulled off one had a pin holding the gear to the distributor shaft. The one I pulled was on a 340 and the gear had stripped out so I took a distributor off an H and installed it on the 340

Thanks everyone! Got this figured out. One end, (Engine side) is machined part of shaft. The gear that meshes with distributor gear does have a pin...actually looks to be identical to the pin that holds distributor gear on to me.

Depending on which one you have they can be either way pinned of part of the shaft. The one I pulled out of the 340 and then put one in form an H was pinned. But either way the reason I pulled the one out of the 340 was because the gear was stripped out so it jumped timing
