Help with VIN to determine approx build date

Forgive folks if there is a sticky somewhere here on this forum with a range of VIN numbers, I could not find.
Just got this from the farm, I guess that makes me 3rd generation.
It will clean up and should start and run. 10 years should not make a difference, right?
VIN is " H FBX 330062 X 1 "

My main most project right now is to get new rear tires & rims/wheels.
It has 12.4 x 38 Goodyear's on it now.
Very weathered and done.
The wheel/rim has rusted thru and are not even safe to put air in.
So, if a guy needed to buy 2 wheels & tires, is there a source that would have a package deal or would make a package deal on 2 wheels, tires and tubes, mounted ready to go?
Thanks,
Michael

check with salvage yards.lots of good ones come in on junk tractors, already mounted.dnr gives them fits about having tires on property.

According to http://www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/000/2/9/290-farmall-h.htm your H tractor should be a 1950 .

I tried that link but I cannot figure out how you got that info, but thanks again.

I suggest you try to get the tires off and see if the rims can be weld patched. I have a junk rim I cut patches out of. So, worst case, use 1 rim to
fix the other. Then replace just one.

n. Sorry the other search did not work.. Search for "farmall tractor data" you will be able to find the data for all Farmall tractor's sorted by model. Then just select the H from the list. Serial numbers are listed at the bottom of the page.

Found the problem, shorten the search to www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/000/2/9/290-farmall-h.htm

Sure wish they would fix the edit feature..

I figured it out with your help.
Great info.
I tried to post a photo in the first post.
I will try again here.
This will be a before.

"H" is the model.

Tag should read FBH, not FBX.

330062 is the serial number, and as indicated 1950.

X1 indicates a gas engine.

Serial numbers are to the left of the page, in classic view.
