Gravely 70 Super convertible will not drive

Hi, I have a gravely super convertible that has been sitting for 25 years or more. My father stopped using it when it would not go any more. A friend recently got it started. It runs good but we still have the drive issue. When I put it low range on the axle it will not go. In high range it travelled about 15 feet and then stopped. Reverse worked for a few feet and then that stopped. Currently it will not go forward or reverse. Any ideas on where to look next?

Check the drive train.

You might want to go to the Garden Tractor
forum and ask Jeffcat, he knows all about those 2
wheel Gravelys. Could be as simple as a clutch
adjustment....
