does anyone know the reason engine oil does not turn black in a diesel tractor

I haven't seen a diesel engine yet that the oil doesn't turn black and I have used hundreds of diesel trucks and tractors.

I have seen diesel engines with both full flow and very tight bypass oil filters that will keep the oil looking clean for a long time, though unless you change at 50 hours, it eventually gets black.
