I am rebuilding a TSX-245 Carb. for a JD 420. I have the carb apart. I got everything out BUT the nozzle in the bottom of the bowl. I can NOT even turn the brass part to get it loose. I can get a new one. I have some "easy outs". I would like to try these. I know this sounds goofy but will the brass hold up and not bugger up the female threads in the bowl? I am at the end of my wits. Please help with suggestions for getting this piece out.
This is my first big tractor project and would like to do it myself. I realize I could go buy a rebuilt carb but now it is the "principle" of the matter.
Also this carb is not original to this tractor. Will this carb be OK?
Thank You in ADVANCE for any help offered up.
