how do i remove seized drain tap on ferguson 20

I am overhauling ferguson tef 20 engine and I cannot remove coolant tap neither will it undo to drain
any advice would be very grateful

Is it brass? Im not familiar with the engine but maybe you could heat up around it. Sometimes you can take a torch with
a pencil tip and heat up the part you want out, let it cool, heat up again and to on. The expansion and contraction
from temperature change will sometimes break it free.

it one of those small 1/8 pipe plug types in the side of the engine?

If so, should be easy to direct heat with a plumbers torch then allow to cool, then unthread it from the block,

if it won't unthread, then you can always center drill it then extract. the brass is softer than the cast.

After it is center drilled how do you get it out if it is still rust welded to the threads of the hole? I am just starting to fool with old tractors and figure I will need to know before long. thanks

A trick that I have used for years on rusted bolts, nuts and bleeders that might work here is to heat up stuck bolt with torches then as soon as its heated up put some candle wax on the threads or head of the bolt.
