Massey Ferguson 242 loader problems

I have a 1995 Massey Ferguson 253 tractor with a 242 loader. I can raise the bucket but it will not rotate. I am wondering what I can do to repair it. Does anyone have suggestions? I would really appreciate help on this matter. Thanks.

First do some trouble shooting. Get the appropriate "T" fitting and a 5000 psi pressure gauge to go in to the "T".( you need a high pressure gauge even though your system pressure is 2000-2500 psi, you can get pressure spikes that are much higher. Surplus Center has these gauges for under $20) Place it in the hydraulic line that runs to the curl cylinder Start the tractor and move the bucket control to move the curl cylinder in both directions. Do you have pressure to the cylinder? If you do and the cylinder doesn"t move you most likely have a leaking piston seal. Remove the cylinder, take it apart and take the rod and piston to a hydraulic shop or to your MF dealer and see if they have a replacement kit.

Ok, I switched the hydraulic lines and now the bucket rotates. however, when I pick up a load of dirt with the front end loader, I cannot rotate it up enough to keep the dirt in the bucket. Could it be the curl cylinders? I did check the fluid levels, all good. Is there something else I should check or adjust?
I appreciate any suggestions.
