Toro reel mower

I have been looking for some new knife bars for an old 1970 Toro Spartan. The part number is 5-2677 and I've been told is discontinued. Does anyone have any leads on where I might find some used or another knife bar that is a suitable substitute?

Thank you, JoeM, for the assist. Unfortunately, this Spartan is a generation newer than what I have and the knife bar has been changed. The one I have has a pivot disk and two bolts on each end to adjust tilt. The newer models have a central pivot adjustment. Are there other places that might help or does anyone have the dimensions and hole pattern so I can try to find something else?

I'm looking for knife bars (part number 5-2677) for a 1970 Toro Spartan (model number 01134-02635). If the price is right my boss is looking for as many as he can get. Any help at all would be much appreciated, ztrmower.

As Joe M said try R & R Products. They have just about anything you can imagine and sometimes more. I was the
repairman for the local golf course for 8-!/2 years before retiring and I ordered as much as possible from them
They are usually better on prices than the OEM people and their quality is very good. Their quality control is
excellent, In all the time I ordered from them I never got a bad part.The part(s) you are looking for is called the bed knife. When you install new bed knives you will need to have the reels ground or
at least back-lapped to restore the edge on the reel. If you have them professionally ground they will know the
correct angle to be ground on the blades to give clearance. Insufficient clearance from front to back on the reel
blades will cause the knives and the bed-knife to wear out prematurely and take excess engine power to run. Check
to see if the leading edge of the reel blade is a few thousands higher than the trailing edge to assure a good
clean cut. When Toro reels are sharpened and adjusted correctly they will cut a single sheet of regular paper
with a clean edge and no drag. This method is why the golf course greens look so smooth.

Although R&amp;R is an excellent company and I have had good experiences with them; in this case they have been unable to help. Thank you, Gene, for the suggestion.
